This weekend was a good one. From pizza, 40s and bingo on Friday night, to a mani and shopping date with Brooke on Saturday afternoon, to a Saturday night wedding to honor two lovely people, to a lazy Sunday.

Last night we all went to see Dark Knight Rises at 10:40 PM. In IMAX. At a theater 40 minutes from our house. So I’m like a freaking zombie today and think I just took a nap at my desk with my eyes open. Hope Blake doesn’t mind that in my blind stumble to get ready I grabbed his shirt and am dressed like a picnic for work today. Jazzed it up with my new favorite necklace and just retrieved an Olympics-style original Coca Cola to try and wake up.

I'm Katie, a PR and social media gal in my mid-twenties. As soon as I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up it became obsolete. Instead of writing for a newspaper I get to write here. My job is exciting and wonderful but exhausting at times, and when I do have the energy to remove my rear from the couch, I enjoy drinking all the wines, shopping for thousands of identical cardigans and striped items, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, chasing after my insane English Bulldog, Denny, singing and dancing along with the Avett Brothers, and having as much fun as possible with my friends and family.
