About: PR gal in my twenties. As soon as I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up it became obsolete. Instead of writing for a newspaper I get to write here. My job is exciting and wonderful but exhausting at times, and when I do have the energy to remove my rear from the couch, I enjoy drinking all the wines, shopping for thousands of identical cardigans and striped items, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, chasing after my insane English Bulldog, Denny, singing and dancing along with the Avett Brothers, and having as much fun as possible with my friends and family. Sometimes I think about exercising. And then I grab a bag of chips.

GET AT ME

Monday Check In

obsessing over…  why i thought my tax return would be literally 20x more than it appears to be. (so much for buying a wedding dress with it, maybe i can afford the garter?) also, everything to do with mount everest after blake and i spent the weekend watching every show and documentary on netflix about climbing to the summit.

working on…  motivating myself to do one of my least favorite work tasks

thinking about…  what i will eat for lunch and how i can cure my cough that has kept me up since 3 am and also how badly i don’t want to go to the gym today but i do want those lululemon pants

anticipating…  getting home and putting on all the softest clothes in the world.

listening to…  everyone around me typing. i need to crank some tunes.

drinking…  diet coke, but about to be moving on to the water portion of my day (which also leads to the bathroom portion of my day.)

wishing…  i had the money/time/energy to get away on a big vacation. also, that some positive changes will come around here. fingers crossed.
