About: PR gal in my twenties. As soon as I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up it became obsolete. Instead of writing for a newspaper I get to write here. My job is exciting and wonderful but exhausting at times, and when I do have the energy to remove my rear from the couch, I enjoy drinking all the wines, shopping for thousands of identical cardigans and striped items, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, chasing after my insane English Bulldog, Denny, singing and dancing along with the Avett Brothers, and having as much fun as possible with my friends and family. Sometimes I think about exercising. And then I grab a bag of chips.

GET AT ME

I pray I don’t forget any of these things when we start planning.

- remember the joy
- learn to say no to what you don’t want, and yes to what makes you grin
- “I will not remember what my wedding looks like; I will remember what it felt like.”

So far A Practical Wedding (the book, not the blog) is spot on.
