About: PR gal in my twenties. As soon as I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up it became obsolete. Instead of writing for a newspaper I get to write here.
My job is exciting and wonderful but exhausting at times, and when I do have the energy to remove my rear from the couch, I enjoy drinking all the wines, shopping for thousands of identical cardigans and striped items, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, chasing after my insane English Bulldog, Denny, singing and dancing along with the Avett Brothers, and having as much fun as possible with my friends and family. Sometimes I think about exercising. And then I grab a bag of chips.
GET AT ME
After spending hours in the car and finally getting back to Birmingham last night, I crashed hard. I spent a lot of time today at work catching up with Tumblr and perusing wedding boards on Pinterest (no shame now!) I saw Lili and Joy’s posts about this book, and figured it was a sign I needed to go ahead and buy it since I’d put it on my wishlist last week. I found this signed copy at WalMart of all places, and my sister (one of John Green’s biggest fans) said he signed all of the books in the first run. I’m ready to settle in for a calm week and weekend of reading and upacking and relaxing.
