About: PR gal in my twenties. As soon as I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up it became obsolete. Instead of writing for a newspaper I get to write here. My job is exciting and wonderful but exhausting at times, and when I do have the energy to remove my rear from the couch, I enjoy drinking all the wines, shopping for thousands of identical cardigans and striped items, cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide, chasing after my insane English Bulldog, Denny, singing and dancing along with the Avett Brothers, and having as much fun as possible with my friends and family. Sometimes I think about exercising. And then I grab a bag of chips.

GET AT ME

Monday was for…

Waking up bright and early to head to the Superdome and pick up our tickets, grabbing some lunch (interestingly enough, with the guy who was basically responsible for Blake and I going to our first date party together,) putting on our Alabama swag and hitting the streets, daiquiris and beers and hand grenades and hurricanes, being called tiger bait so many times I thought I’d changed my name, stomping through the streets to the Dome and getting hyped, screaming until we almost passed out, singing Rammer Jammer, crimson colored confetti raining down, our team hoisting the crystal football, celebrating at Pat O’s in the piano bar until 4 am, and going to bed as champions.
